1、Introduction

Cold plate which we developed in recent years is a significant improvement of aluminium heat sink.

The cold plate is an aluminum heat sink with several sintered heat pipe embedded in its base plate. The sintered heat pipe, which is superior in its good isothermal performance and low heat resistance, helps the heat spread to the whole area when heat source contacts the base plate.

The test for the product showed that the cooling efficiency increased at least 50%, compared with the pure aluminium of the same size.

It is considered as an ideal solution to direct cooling of the low-power devices.
